GETEC AG is a leading energy service provider in Europe, specializing in efficient and sustainable energy solutions for industrial and real estate sectors. We reengineered and customized the billing system for GETEC AG, transforming their outdated internal platform used across the entire company group. After conducting a comprehensive business analysis of their billing processes and reverse-engineering the existing system, we developed a detailed technical specification for a modular architecture. This new system features a high-performance core with multiple specialized modules that automate workflows across various departments, streamlining operations.

In addition to improving process speed and automating routine tasks, we developed custom APIs to integrate document management and data processing from different subsystems into a unified platform—GETEC UDB. The platform also provides real-time data insights, enabling the company to monitor billing activities more effectively. By leveraging modern technologies such as .NET, MSSQL, SOAP, and XML, the revamped system reduced operational costs and improved scalability for future expansions. Rigorous testing and ongoing maintenance were provided to ensure smooth system deployment and performance over time.

Digital Print Group is a leading worldwide provider of high-quality print services, specializing in a wide range of custom print products. We developed a comprehensive custom Web2Print solution that allows web users to create and order personalized print products, including greeting cards, wall art, photo magnets, photo books, and posters. The solution included various modules designed to enhance both the user experience and the backend management of the system.

The frontend featured an advanced online design tool, enabling users to create their own designs with ease, along with an automated PDF generator for print-ready files and built-in pre-print verification to ensure quality. Additionally, multiple e-commerce stores with integrated product configurators were developed, allowing seamless product catalog creation and management.

On the backend, we implemented a product and order management system, a template editor for the online designer, and API integration with internal offline printing solutions. Payment system integration and automated billing processes further streamlined operations. We also created iOS and Android mobile applications, allowing users to design and order products directly from their devices, with full support for app store publishing.

MÄC-GEIZ, a national discount chain, aimed to enhance their online presence by transitioning from a "clever warehouse" model to a "household discount store" concept. The new online platform organizes their well-known private labels into clear product categories, such as household goods, textiles, toys, and more. This digital transformation also involved showcasing rotating promotions across various branches, creating an engaging online experience for customers nationwide.

Our solution included a custom-designed website that offers users a streamlined path to the products and information they seek. Utilizing Magento’s banner management system, we enabled flexible layout changes to feature seasonal promotions. Additionally, an integrated store locator with a postal code search helps customers find the nearest branch via an interactive map. The career portal automatically lists job openings and processes applications efficiently. We also implemented a browsable catalog for promotional flyers, which can be updated centrally via a CMS.

The Saxon State Ministry of Finance aimed to create an interactive portal that would engage young audiences with traditionally complex and dry financial topics. The challenge was to present the ministry's content in a more exciting and accessible format, transforming it into a learning tool for schools. To achieve this, we integrated the enterprise software OpenText, building an interactive learning platform with engaging quizzes.

Through on-site workshops, we gathered the necessary content and reimagined it in a youth-friendly format. Complex topics like the functions of the 45 departments of the Finance Ministry were reframed with playful questions like “What’s the elephant doing in the Finance Ministry?” The portal, built using OpenText CMS, encourages students to explore financial knowledge in an engaging and interactive way while testing their learning through quizzes. The corporate design guidelines were creatively adapted to appeal to the younger audience, resulting in a visually compelling and educational tool.

Stadtwerke Leipzig, one of the largest energy suppliers in Germany, needed a complete overhaul of their digital presence to better serve their hundreds of thousands of private and business customers. The goal was to create a clean, modern, and user-friendly web experience that could efficiently handle the diverse needs of their large user base.

The project began with a series of workshops involving all key departments, allowing for the restructuring of content to make navigation more intuitive. We designed an information funnel based on usability principles, allowing visitors to quickly find the information they need in just a few clicks. The website was divided into clear user segments—Private Customers, Business Customers, Companies, Careers, and Market Partners—making it easier for users to navigate based on their specific needs.
The interactive features were enhanced, including step-by-step forms that reduce drop-off rates, and a product advisor tool that guides users to the right energy solutions. Extensive usability testing was conducted with target audience members to fine-tune the user experience and ensure ease of navigation.
